Job Summary:
Arch Recovery Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Director to lead the clinical operations of our inpatient residential substance abuse treatment facility. This position requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in substance use treatment and a deep understanding of clinical practices, ASAM criteria, and regulatory standards. As Clinical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing our multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and driving continuous improvement in clinical outcomes for clients at ASAM levels 3.5 and 3.7. Clinical Director will work closely with our EMR/EHR provider to build and customize clinical forms that will be critical in our day-to-day operations. The Clinical Director will implement their experience, knowledge and expertise to build our clinical program(s).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the clinical team to ensure consistent, high-quality care and compliance with ASAM level 3.5 and 3.7 standards.
- Oversee clinical operations, including developing, implementing, and evaluating treatment programs to ensure they meet regulatory and facility standards.
- Provide direct supervision, support, and training to clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
- Maintain clinical documentation standards and oversee the use of electronic health records (EHR) to ensure accuracy, privacy, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct crisis interventions and assist staff in managing complex client cases.
- Lead treatment team meetings, case reviews, and performance evaluations to promote a coordinated approach to client care.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and ensure the delivery of evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with administrative leadership to maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines, including those specific to substance use treatment.
- Serve as a clinical resource for staff, providing guidance on best practices and supporting professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Current clinical licensure required (e.g., LCSW, LPC, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in substance use treatment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a multidisciplinary team.
- In-depth knowledge of ASAM criteria, levels of care, and addiction recovery practices.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
- Exceptional communication, clinical judgment, and crisis intervention skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an inpatient or residential treatment setting.
- Certification in addiction counseling (e.g., CADC, CAADC).
- Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal regulations related to substance use treatment.
Work Environment:
The Clinical Director will work primarily on-site in an inpatient residential setting, involving regular interaction with clients and clinical staff. The role may include occasional opportunities for remote work based on facility needs.
