Experience Minimum Required • Min of 2000 hrs. of clinical practice in the specialty area, 25% which has occurred in the last 3 yrs. Education Minimum Required • BA or BS in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy Training Minimum Required • Post professional certification/specialization in area of specialty supported by National Board Exam or successful completion of Fellowship/Residency in area of specialization. In addition, this position demonstrates competency in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to patient evaluation; development of care plans; administration of therapeutic interventions and documentation of clinical care. 1. Partnership and collaboration within specialty program. 2. Demonstrates competency in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to patient evaluation and development of care plan. 3. Demonstrates competency in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to the administration of therapeutic interventions. 4. Demonstrates competency in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to the documentation of clinical care. . Maintains medical record including assessment, interventions and clinical response. 5. Demonstrates competency in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to the communication of clinical and operational information. . Participates in daily inpatient discharge planning rounds. 6. Demonstrates competency in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to receiving and providing education. . 7. Demonstrates competency in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to the supervision of support staff.
