Clinic Care Coordinator Lead - Cottage Health

Is responsible for registering, collecting payments, and providing administrative support to the Medical Assistants as needed and fulfilling all duties of a Lead at Cottage ambulatory clinics. Additionally, acts as a Liaison between Management, the Patient Access department and the various clinics in the region. Helps onboard new team members and trains the rest of the Clinical Concierge staff to help meet the operational goals of the centers. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring minimal registration errors within the clinic setting, modeling Patients First behavior, and assisting with the flow in daily operations and serving as a point-person for coordinating new initiatives.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

Minimum: 2 years of equivalent work experience as a Medical Receptionist in a clinic setting.

Preferred:

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Minimum: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers

Preferred:

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum: Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of electronic medical record, preferably Epic. Basic computer/email skills. Basic MS Word & min. 35 wpm typing speed.

Preferred:

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum: 3 years of experience with an electronic health record.

Preferred: Ambulatory experience
