Perform the role of Client Services Manager for the Commercial Banking Division ensuring that all client service issues are handled in an expeditious manner upholding the highest standards of service excellence. This individual is also responsible for assisting the Division to meet all its stated financial and production goals either through effective and efficient commercial loan processing.

Responsibilities/Duties:- Assists in the development of new business for Firstrust. Is alert to expressed customer/prospect needs and possesses knowledge of banking products and services to suggest appropriate services.
- Primary relationship manager and direct contact with the customer. Recommends loan and deposit pricing and structures and processes the loan for appropriate approval.
- Be the focal point for client service issues to field all questions, comments and concerns that PCG clients might have on an ongoing basis.
- Possesses knowledge of loan, deposit and cash management products in order to suggest products to new customers and cross sell existing customers.
- Interfaces with branches, customers, loan and deposit accounting departments and other appropriate departments as required in reference to commercial banking credit and non-credit products
- Interfaces with loan accounting regarding pre-closing and post-closing documentation preparation.
- Review loan and deposit accounting system information and reports to ensure that assigned commercial banking assets and liabilities are set up and accounted for correctly.
- Provides the Loan Accounting department with new loan information for processing
- Assist Portfolio Managers with the ordering of and follow-up on outside information used in the underwriting process, i.e. credit bureau reports, searches, D&B’s, etc.
- Assists Portfolio Managers in the proper maintenance of credit files for all borrowers and prospects.
- Assist Portfolio Managers with monitoring of assigned loan portfolios on an ongoing basis for delinquency, document follow-up, covenant compliance, ongoing financial reporting, renewals, and additional information as required.
- Assists in the preparation of management reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the SVP/Team Leader.
Essential Functions:
While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to drive a motor vehicle in the service of clients, including but not limited to, obtaining signatures on documents, attending loan closing meetings, assisting branches in opening new accounts. In addition, the employee is regularly required to operate a computer terminal, create reports and exchange information. The incumbent will be expected to retrieve files, handle phone inquiries and communicate directives.
DECISION MAKING:
While performing the duties of a relationship manager for select private banking clients, makes decisions on recommended loan and deposit product structures and rates. Obtains proper approvals when necessary.
Knowledge - Skills & Abilities:- High school diploma or equivalent – a two or four year degree preferred.
- Intermediate efficiency in the Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Prior work experience in a commercial bank environment preferred.
