About the Job
Note: We are seeking candidates who are willing to study, test, and become a licensed financial advisor in approximately the next 2 years.
Role
To provide quality operational and administrative support to Beacon Investment Representatives, including but not limited to, maintaining schedule of appointments and client database, maintaining files, and preparing correspondence.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains schedule of appointments for Investment Representatives and manages client database.
- Performs general administrative duties for the department, including maintaining files and working with vendors and broker dealer.
- Prepares and mails monthly cards, fact finders and other miscellaneous correspondence.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
Up to six months of similar or related experience.
A high school diploma or HSE. A two-year or four-year college degree in business or a related field is preferred.
Willing and able to study for and pass necessary exams to become a Financial Advisor.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy
Excellent member service skills
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Superior organizational skills with ability to multitask
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Internet
Standard position hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
