I. GENERAL SUMMARY & OVERALL CHALLENGES
Responsible for handling, shipping, and receiving all HemoCue products. Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing products with proper documentation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures guidelines. Proficient in handling medical devices in a laboratory environment. Assist internal and external teams, including sales representatives, with product inquiries related but not limited loaner and demo orders, ongoing or past repairs, and shipping and receiving-related questions or concerns for all HemoCue products. Possess a strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure while meeting multiple and complex deadlines. Demonstrate professional communication skills and cooperative behavior with internal and external teams, as well as various department managers.
II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle shipping and receiving of all HemoCue products for all purposes such as replacements, samples, repairs, and demonstrations for use in the US and Canada. Maintain and manage all laboratory procedures and documentation for hazardous chemicals and SDS. Monitor and control the temperature of laboratory equipment and sensitive products. Other duties may be assigned by the Technical Support Lead and/or Manager to assist with departmental workload, including but not limited to:
• Receive, inspect, ship, and document all incoming and outgoing shipments to and from suppliers, warehouses, customers, and HemoCue associates.
• Maintain accurate packing and shipping documents for both international and domestic shipments of analyzers and other products.
• Address and respond to all repair & shipping related inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, following established protocols, SOPs, and work instructions. Utilize available tools such as the ERP system, CRM system, and Quality systems.
• Routinely follow up with the relevant department on open inquiries, complaints, and loaner analyzers.
• Acquire knowledge of all HemoCue products, accessories, and procedures.
• Manage and assist in the preparation of daily, monthly, weekly, and yearly reports associated with departmental key performance indicators and complaint data.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts of all HemoCue products in the Lab/Repair center on a regular basis.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
III. REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
• Position Specific Competencies / Experience
• At least 2 years of experiences working in a repair, shipping & receiving environment.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work in a face-pace environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations and exercise strong independent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift packages, boxes, and equipment up to 5-25 lbs.
• Must demonstrate integrity and commitment to organizational values.
• Willingness to accept additional responsibilities with a positive attitude and foster teamwork.
• Must exhibit professional interaction with technical staff and other departments.
• Handling of specimens.
• Previous medical or clinical laboratory background preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficiency in MS Word and Microsoft Office Applications with intermediate Excel skills.
