Our hospital is an American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. We offer two off-site ERs in Palm Beach Gardens and West Boynton Beach. They provide the same emergency treatment for adults and children. We are located in the city of Atlantis. We are near the coastal cities of Lake Worth and Boynton Beach. Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Clerk Cardiac Cath Lab for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Tasks and Responsibilities within your role:

• Answers phone and responds appropriately to callers request
• Responsible for the accuracy of records and files maintained by the department
• Compiles procedure chart accurately for each patient
• Troubleshoots office equipment and calls for service as needed
• Maintains departmental database of patients
• Receives fax or computer request for procedure, verifies date and faxes acknowledgment to referring physicians
• Audits and verifies charges for each patient.
• Enters patient charges.
• Answers telephone, takes messages accurately and distributes appropriately.
• Demonstrates proficiency in current hospital computer techniques. 

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate / GED
• BLS required
• 1-3 years related experience
