As a Contract Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting federal Contracting Officer in the acquisition of a wide range of products and services for our clients contracts team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Full Lifecycle Contract Management: From inception to completion, you will manage the entire contract lifecycle, including market research, solicitation development, proposal evaluation, contract negotiation, and post-award administration.
- Acquisition Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with the Contracting Officer to develop comprehensive acquisition strategies, determining appropriate contract types and methods to align with program objectives.
- Contract Performance Oversight: Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough cost and price analyses to evaluate proposals and negotiate favorable terms.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely contract documentation, including solicitations, modifications, and reports.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including program managers, technical experts, and contractors.
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of government contracting experience in the private sector or 5+ years as a GS-1102 Contract Specialist or higher
- Extensive experience in federal acquisition regulations, policies, and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP and/or SCI environments within the past 5 years
- Preference for Certification in Acquisition, such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)

Pay Range: Salary $150,000.00 to $155,000.00
