Who You Are:To help ensure continuing customer satisfaction with JMG service by assisting with claims from the beginning to the end, as well as assisting Producers, Marketing Team, and Account Managers where needed.
What You'll Do:- Take loss information from customers and report claims to the carriers.
- Follow up on claim handling by insurance companies, maximizing availability of carrier resources to customer and ensuring customers’ claims receive priority attention.
- Monitors carriers to ensure they meet all commitments to clients.
- Investigates and resolves claim payments problems.
- Reviews with, guides or counsels producers on claims, claim problems and issues for all designated lines of business.
- Maintains favorable working relationships with insurers and their representatives
- Coordinate and work closely with other Claims Specialists in team environment
- Provides/assists in special projects at the request of manager
- Afterhours Call Line participation
- High School Graduate or equivalent,
- Agent/ Broker Claims experience is required
- Prior property & casualty claims experience preferred
- Familiarity with Applied Systems EPIC preferred
- Property & Casualty Adjuster’s or Adjuster/Producer’s License preferred
