Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team of claims professionals, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of claims.
2. Act as a liaison between the company and external parties such as brokers, adjusters, and legal counsel.
3. Oversee all aspects of the claims process, including incident investigation, claim resolution, and arbitration.
4. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of risk and implement mitigation strategies.
5. Manage all aspects of workers' compensation claims, including the processing, resolution, and litigation of claims.
6. Collaborate with the risk management team to identify and implement process improvements to reduce claims frequency and severity.
7. Travel as necessary to manage field claims and incidents.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for the claims team.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Ideal candidate:
someone with experience as an adjuster, int he worker's compensation side is preferred
someone worked as paralegal or law firm experience dealing with injury cases and claims
