We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineer Project Manager to join our Renewable Energy practice in our Virginia Beach VA office. Projects in this group focus on utility scale wind and solar farm projects, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design, mass grading, road and crane path design. The successful candidate will have entrepreneurial spirit and create a vision for growth and contribute to the growth of the Solar discipline with the support of accounting, administrative marketing, recruiting and IT.

Responsibilities
- Design portions of a project using relevant office software, modeling and AutoCAD Civil 3D technology.
- Prepare specifications materials using research and manufacturing catalogs to specify materials, installation, inspection and payment of items specific to a project.
- Lead, direct and grow the renewable energy practice for Dewberry.
- Building and maintaining positive client relationships, while establishing sales goals.
- Complete design and plan sets.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- 8+ Years of experience
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering and PE required.
- Design experience with Solar Systems.
- Extensive local client contacts and relationships, in addition to relationships with local jurisdictional staff.
- Successful track record of winning work.
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage and mentor staff.
- Direct resources effectively in a positive manner.
- Experience with Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) and local utility requirements.
