Child Care Site Supervisor - Minnetonka Schools Community Education

Ready to take the next step in your child care leadership journey? Minnetonka Community Education is looking for a dynamic Site Supervisor to lead our school-age care program, Explorers! Join our passionate team of educators and oversee the planning and execution of engaging programs for students before and after school, on non-school days, and throughout the summer. Your role will include:

• Develop and lead an enriching child care program
• Supervise staff and students
• Ensure safety during school and field trip activities
• Maintain compliance with documentation 
• Support after-school enrichment
• Foster positive relationships with staff, parents, and district personnel
• Ensure a safe, caring environment and perform related duties as needed

Location:

• Groveland Elementary

Shift time:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week, 12 months per year
• School Year: Split shift 6:30-9:30 a.m. and 1:00-6:00 p.m.
• Non- School Days & Summer: Straight 8-hour shift

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting at $25.40/hour
• Health and dental benefits

Qualifications:

• BA, BS, or AA in a related field, or 2 years of college with 18 months of experience in school-age care
• Proven experience in childcare or education, with leadership experience
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Completion of CCAP required training before starting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and a track record of punctuality
