Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard.
- Develop and implement innovative, exciting, and diverse menus that cater to the tastes of our diverse clientele.
- Manage the kitchen staff, ensuring that they are adequately trained, motivated, and productive.
- Ensure that all dishes are presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner, in line with our brand's vision.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute special events and caterings.
- Manage kitchen inventory, ensuring that all necessary supplies are always available.
- Continuously strive to improve our culinary offerings and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or a similar role in a high-quality establishment.
- Formal culinary training with a specialization in pastries.
- Proven track record of kitchen management, menu development, and catering.
- Exceptional cooking skills with a keen eye for presentation.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A passion for the culinary arts and a drive to constantly improve.
- Knowledge of the latest culinary trends and techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
