Compensation: $32/hour
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC):

Responsibilities as the Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC):
- Case Management: Provide case management, individual and group counseling, and advocacy services to support client recovery and rehabilitation.
- Collaboration: Participate actively in Clinical Diagnostic Team (CDT) meetings and provide substance abuse consultation to case planners working with affected families.
- Assessments: Conduct psychosocial assessments, design individualized treatment plans, and coordinate interventions with community organizations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate case records, update treatment plans, document progress, and prepare necessary reports.
- Therapeutic Support: Establish professional relationships, serve as a role model, and offer targeted psychotherapy and family therapy as appropriate.
- Education: Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) required (MSW preferred).
- Certification: CASAC certification required.
- Experience: 3-5+ years conducting assessments for adults and adolescents required, with a focus on family systems.
- Skills: Strong assessment, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a passion for supporting children, families, and the community.
- Language: Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
