We are seeking a Part- Time Certified Peer Specialist to join our team in our Upland, PA. location.
Earn 19.29/hour.
Position Details
The Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) performs a range of tasks through individual and group encounters to assist consumers in regaining control over their own lives and over their own recovery process. The CPS will role model competency in recovery and ongoing coping skills, serve as a consumer advocate, provide information and peer support. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
* Facilitate recovery groups (NA, AA, Double Trouble).
* Meet individually with residents to work on towards their goals.
* Assist in transporting residents to appointments and outings, to support them in community integration.
* Document daily progress notes, crisis notes, and incident reports.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED is required.
* Certified Peer Specialist Certification required
* Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
* Experience is residential preferred.
