Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA - TRANSITIONS HEALTHCARE CAPITOL CITY LLC

As a Certified Nursing Assistant,

• You will primarily be responsible for performing routine care and providing comfort to the residents while communicating essential information according to protocol.
• This position assists residents with activities of daily living, make beds and change linens as needed, complete drying/checking rounds, record intake and output, assist visitors and timely and accurately document resident care.
• We are seeking team players who will treat residents as if they were their own family
  members.
• This position performs other duties as set forth in the job description and as assigned.

Requirements in the role include:

• Valid District of Columbia certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Ability to transfer and move residents with assistance as deemed necessary with a plan of care using proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing in excess of 40 pounds using proper techniques and with assistance as necessary.
• Be able to sit, bend, and stoop. Stand and/or walk for six (6) hours or more daily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
