Position: Certified Medication Technician
Location: Decatur Health & Rehab
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to medications.
- Document and record all medications administered during shifts.
- Ensure medication storage areas are secure and organized.
- Collaborate with nursing and pharmacy staff to ensure accurate medication inventory.
- Update patient medication profiles and report any discrepancies.
- Provide basic patient care as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Medication Technician.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to providing high-quality care and hospitality.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
