Certified Medical Assistant - Modern Nose Clinic

Modern Nose Clinic is a state-of-the-art, highly subspecialized Rhinology, Allergy and Sleep practice changing healthcare by doing medicine differently and having loads of fun while doing it! This role is based out of our clinic in Tualatin, Oregon, with the ability to commute to our Salem, Oregon clinic as needed, being required.

THE POSITION

Modern Nose Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing team. If you are looking to avoid burn-out, with no on-call or weekend shifts, then this may be the role for you. As our Medical Assistant/Patient Coordinator, you will create a compassionate and informed patient experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Responsible for the patient’s comprehensive care plan, collecting chart notes, preparing treatment rooms for examinations and assisting our practitioners during medical procedures
• Maintaining patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information with strict confidentiality
• Preparing treatment rooms and sterile processing
• Preparing and administering medications for patients as directed by physicians
• Administrative activities, including scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and patient medical record maintenance
• Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
• Other duties as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (Required)
• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• ICD coding (Preferred)
