Certified Medical Assistant - Tandym

A health services network in Georgia is currently seeking a certified Medical Assistant to join their growing team. In this field-based role, the Medical Assistant (MA) will be responsible for conducting patient visits in the home and working closely with Providers to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will be responsible for:

• Assisting Providers in all facets of patient care during and after in-home visits
• Translating or connecting with a language line as needed
• Collecting and documenting demographic, care preference, medication-related, and environmental information
• Measuring and documenting vital signs
• Performing diagnostic tasks such as EKGs and blood-laboratory draws, as directed
• Preparing patient charts and performing clerical tasks, as needed
• Conducting member outreach to schedule home visits for clinical programs
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant (MA) certification
• Solid assessment and documentation skills

Desired Skills:

• 6+ months of experience in a Clinical and/or Patient Care setting
• Computer savvy
