Job Summary:
This position reports directly to the Administrative Director. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the physicians, front-office staff , clinic supervisor and the Administrative Director to provide quality clinical care and enhance patient satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Take and enter vital signs in the electronic health record
- Prepare and label specimens with required clinical data
- Clean and maintain exam and procedure rooms
- Maintain sterile and non-sterile equipment
- Maintain adequate inventory of pharmaceutical supplies and necessary supplies within the practice
- Make sure rooms are cleaned and stocked or the following day
- Fax and copy as requested
- Contact pharmacy and insurance companies
- Assist in the training of new personnel
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalency and graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program. Associates Degree or additional academic coursework is preferred.
- CMA or equivalency required.
- Current BCLS/AED certification required.
- Basic proficiency in computer skills including, but not limited to, Electronic Health Systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Email systems, etc.
- Previous medical assisting experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
- Preferred multi-specialty experience in a high-volume setting preferred.
- Demonstrates good interpersonal skills with team and patients
Hourly Rate Range: $21.00 - $33.17
Note: Our salary offers will fall within these ranges based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, skill set, training and education.
