About the Job
Team Carney's 508 Trusted Testers are involved in testing web-based training, immersive learning simulations, mobile applications, and documents. The QC team identifies performance and functional issues and tracks them through the revision cycle. This contract supports the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA).
This position is Full Time and Remote.Responsibilities:
- Perform various methods of manual testing on elearning courses and training-related deliverables and reports.
- Perform compatibility testing, performance testing, and accessibility testing.
- Perform compliance testing (including SCORM and Section 508) on client’s LMS.
- Document and report errors. Work with team members on identifying and correcting accessibility issues, and verify the resolution of the issues.
- Manage working on multiple projects at the same time.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive solutions that are within sphere of influence.
- Match product to specifications.
- Provide consultation on accessibility policies and ensure compliance with all mandatory government accessibility standards.
- Current DHS Trusted Tester Certification
- Bachelor's degree in a technology field or a field of study related to the assigned project(s) and four (4) years of relevant experience in projects of national scope, including VA initiatives, and in the Federal Government/contracting arena.
- Pass a background investigation, including FBI fingerprint check and provide “identity-proofed” identification through authentication of two forms of government-issued identification.
- Ability to pass a background check, including fingerprints, at the Public Trust level
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to perform job requirements independently or with a group remotely.
Posted Salary Range:
$60,000.00 - $150,000.00/Yr.

The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time status. Part-time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of Team Carney's total compensation package for employees.
