Responsibilities
Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, JCAHO and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Tasks performed may include processing, and distribution of supplies/equipment following policy and procedures/protocol. Ability to train new technicians. Duties and responsibilities include:
+ Must successfully complete assignments assigned on a daily basis, include cleaning and restocking of isolation carts, crash carts, GU cart / latex free carts, PAPR’s, equipment such as kangaroo and alaris pumps, SCD machines and wall suctions; intubation and specialty trays; ordering of inventory or non-inventory supplies. Must demonstrate flexibility by prioritizing tasks to finish assignments assigned
+ Must properly relieve inventory from storage room by properly entering issues into Materials Management Inventory system (ESI). Processes all returns in a timely manner. Reports all discrepancies
+ Must be able to receive incoming supplies and check in using proper procedure, remove items from outside cartons, place on utility carts and transport to the sterile storage area for proper stickering and rotation
+ Must answer phone in a courteous and professional manner, fill request accurately and timely. Computer orders must be filled accurately and within 20 minutes. 15 minutes for stat items, item number and employees initials must be documented on all TPA orders and requisitions.
Qualifications
+ Requires minimum of 3 years Central Service experience Sterile Processing or 1 year experience and registered CS Technician/ Sterile Processing Technician.
+ High School graduate or equivalent.
+ Ability to read write and speak English.
+ Job knowledge required to train other technicians.

Pay Range
$24.64 - $24.64 /hour
