• fiber placement experience
• experience with composites, Textiles, Foam, other processing equipment

Job Description:

• Develop and execute trial plans.
• Create new products on our varied composites, textile, coating, foam, and additive manufacturing technologies.
• Work directly on 3D composites processing equipment and provide "hands on" support to manufacturing and process engineers.
• Analyze test data of newly created products and raw materials.
• Advance Technical Readiness and Manufacturing Readiness Levels.
• Document processing conditions. test results, and other critical-to-quality data.
• Conduct material characterizations for FEA modeling.
• Research new composites materials and novel processes.
• Create work instructions and SOPs for Quality System.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Engineering Technology or relevant/related disciplines

Skills/Knowledge:

• Must be a technologist/engineer who has mold design and making experience
• Must have process knowledge to cast parts with 2-part chemistries
• Working knowledge of composites, textiles, foam, coating, and other processing equipment.
• Working knowledge of materials testing equipment.
• Eagerness to learn and explore advanced 3D composites, textile processes, and other Additive Manufacturing processes.
• Working knowledge of advanced fiber placement systems is desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective team player, with strong critical thinking skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• The ability to create and read 3D Modeling is highly desired.
• 5+ years of prior relevant experience
