Cashier - Sara's Market & Bakery

Summary/Objective
Your role will include assisting customers during the checkout process, performing all cash register functions,
bagging groceries, etc. Additionally, you will work to maintain conditioned shelves. You will ensure a positive
company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient guest service to guests and team
members. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Checks out customers efficiently and accurately ensuring that each guest goes home with their purchases.
• Follow proper procedures for guest check out, handling of tenders, use of tares and use of PLU’s and UPC’s
• Follow all cash handling procedures
• Keep Front End department clean, well stocked, and organized, change register tape as needed, sweep floors and maintain logs.
• Assist Front End leaders in controlling guest flow and backed up lines; help to reduce waiting time for guests.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices
• Performs other duties as assigned by Store Leadership
