The Guest Service Representative is responsible for delighting Thorntons guests with prompt and courteous customer service, maintaining retail merchandise, and supporting store goals and initiatives. In this role you will support our cashier, retail, and customer service efforts.
Guest Service Responsibilities (cashier, retail, and customer service)
Ring all sales as discussed in the operations procedures
Assure proper sale and accounting of money orders/lottery during shift
Ensure that the Store Management is made aware of all sales, cash, or operating discrepancies
Accurately account for price overrides, store use of merchandise, voids, returns and waste
Keep coolers, fast lane merchandise, store shelves, and displays fully stocked and fronted
Clean and maintain equipment and ready high-margin products such as coffee, fountain drinks, etc.
Clean windows, floors, shelving, counters, gas pumps regularly, and restrooms
Advise store management of any maintenance or safety problems
Ability to complete a pre-employment criminal background check
Excellent customer service skills
Be flexible and able to multitask in a fast paced environment
Willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
