Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collects and assess family background information through interviews and document reviews.
- Refers family reunification cases to partner agencies, actively participating in researching and recommending options.
- Collaborates with stakeholders for unaccompanied children's services, developing best practices for family reunification.
- Manages relationships with family members, sponsors, and stakeholders, maintaining professional boundaries.
- Provides advanced advocacy, assessment, and case management services to individuals and families.
- Participates in programmatic needs such as staff meetings, supervision, and transportation.
- Completes necessary forms, case records, and reports accurately and promptly.
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with social service organizations and government agencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of related experience.
- Fluency in a second language.
- Current Driver's License with no prior suspension.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (K/S/A):
- Fluent in a second language.
- Effective communication skills.
- Comfortable working with diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
Work Arrangement: This is an in-person role; remote work is not available.
Work Environment: Flexible scheduling and locations to meet the needs of participants and contractual obligations.
