Description
This is a full time Carpenter position working at Northwest Medical Center.
The Carpenter would complete incoming work orders and be involved in room relocations and office/room refreshes. The Carpenter should be experienced with removing molding, installing acrovyn wall board, working with cove base, installing/repairing door and door frames, and countertop and cabinet repair/replacement. The carpenter will be working alone and occasionally in small groups. Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus!
Work hours are Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm. On occasion, hours may flex as projects and emergencies dictate.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required: Valid Arizona Driver's License.
Experience:
Required: Two years building maintenance of structures.
Skills:
Building construction and maintenance. Read blueprints and diagrams. Variety of handyman skills. Communication skills to manage challenging situations and handle de-escalation. Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Adherence to policies and procedures; Process Improvement orientated; self initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
