Job Title: Carpenter.

Travel Required: Possible - Mostly in the Twin Cities Metro areas.
Level/Salary Range: $26-$35/Hr. (Based on Experience).
Position Type: Full-Time.
Will Train Applicant(s): Yes - Where Needed. Will train specific skills. Career Path Development.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Precisely measuring, cutting and assembling the framing lumber needed to build residential & light commercial buildings.
- Install SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) or ICFs (Insulated Concrete Forms). In these projects, you will frame roof, wall and floor structures, set SIPs and install ICFs with rebar and concrete. Much of this work is performed outdoors in all kinds of weather. Available for weekends, as weather or schedule requires.
- Always keep the job site clean and organized by putting away their own tools and materials after use, sweeping up, and performing other cleaning tasks.
- Work with team members to make projects happen correctly and on time.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
There are no specific training requirements for this position. However, we require you to have a high school diploma or G.E.D. An ability to read and perform basic math are required to help you progress and safely perform your job requirements. Reliable transportation to and from work.
Required Skills:
- Must understand math functions and calculations involving fractions.
- Able to lift and carry 50+ lb heavy objects, such as framing lumber, sheets of plywood and other building materials.
- Ability to work from sets of blueprints as needed and be able to follow direction from Team Leaders.
- Measuring, use of hand tools, saw cutting, power tool operation and air tool operation.
- Knowledge of building code applications, on-the-job safety and basic first aid skills.
- Ability to be in the air to set roof trusses and do multi-level work.
