Elmer's Home Services Heating & Air Conditioning is currently hiring for a full-time Carpenter - Builder to build structures and install interior finishes in the Dallas, TX area. This entry-level carpentry position earns a competitive salary of $42,000+ per year, depending on qualifications, interview, and references.

DAY-TO-DAY

This full-time entry-level construction position typically works Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 or 7:00 PM, with some weekends as necessary.

As an entry-level Carpenter - Builder, you build and finish structures for our customers. For each project, you select lumber by size and strength to suit the customer's budget and style. Then, following precise specifications, you build and install wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and studs. You constantly prioritize safety, quality, and efficiency, maintaining a clean and orderly job site and working collaboratively with the other members of your team.

In addition to structural building, you design and install interior elements, including cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall, and insulation. You also add fixtures such as door handles, locks, hinges, and closures. Your satisfaction comes from honing your carpentry skills while working on interesting construction projects alongside a great team!
