Schedule: Monday - Sunday, 8am - 12pm

At Comfort Keepers, we are dedicated to elevating the human spirit by providing compassionate, one-on-one care to seniors. We’re seeking a caregiver to support a wonderful client and their private caregiver with essential morning tasks and companionship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist client with their morning routine, including coaxing them out of bed, transferring to a walker or wheelchair, showering, dressing, and escorting them to breakfast.
• Provide safety supervision during the overlap between caregiver shifts
• Light housekeeping tasks, including changing linens and preparing laundry for pick-up.
• Meal preparation and occasional laundry assistance.
• Offer companionship and emotional support

Client-Specific Notes:
     •           Dementia experience required: Patience and encouragement are essential.
     •           Uniform-free environment: Plain t-shirts are preferred as uniforms may frighten the client.
     •           No driving during shifts: Caregiver must have reliable transportation to the client’s home.
Non-smoking household with no pets.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in dementia care, transfers, and mobility assistance (e.g., gait belt or wheelchair)
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently.
• Must pass a background check.
