One of my best clients is growing and seeks a Certified Welding Inspector.
They have over 50 years of experience and they are stable, recession durable. They are a mid sized operation that takes care of their people and you'll know everyones name. There is a clear path to a supervisor here.
Quality Inspector
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, CMM).
Conduct structural, weld, and NDE inspections (PT, MT, UT, VT); document results.
Interpret blueprints/specs and follow testing procedures.
Report quality issues and maintain inspection records.
Support operator training and perform internal audits.
Travel to vendor sites as needed.
Qualifications:
CWI certification with 2+ years of experience.
Proficient in blueprint reading and math skills.
Level II in three NDT methods.
Some travel required to customer locations.
