Location: Philadelphia PA
Duration: 13 weeks
First option:
Sunday 7a-7:30p (would assume Sunday schedule after 4-6 weeks of training)
Monday 7a-7:30p
Thursday or Friday 7a-7:30p
Second option:
Fri, Sat and Sunday 7a-7p
Third Option:
Sat, Sun and Monday 7a-7p
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our radiology team. The ideal candidate will perform advanced CT procedures and produce high-quality scans for diagnostic interpretation, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Minimum of 3 years of experience is required essential, pediatric experience required, EPIC experience required, and Siemens experience required
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of CT procedures, including assisting radiologists with biopsies, cardiac CT, and CT angiograms.
- Operate CT equipment, selecting appropriate technical factors for optimal imaging.
- Ensure accurate identification on images, maintaining 100% compliance with patient demographics.
- Document all related data meticulously and maintain the integrity of patient records.
- Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, and the general public.
- Identify, process, transfer, and archive patient exams and related information securely.
- Maintain and secure radiology information systems, resolving complex issues as they arise.
- Orient and train fellow staff technologists, developing and delivering in-service presentations.
- Be available for on-call status, including weekends and holidays, and be flexible with assigned shifts.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in computed tomography is required, with essential pediatric experience.
- Proficiency in EPIC and Siemens imaging systems is mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of computed tomography imaging and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
- Familiarity with radiology information systems and HIPAA regulations.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
