Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Summary

A leading metalworking machinery manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Sales Manager to oversee sales engineering and technical center operations. The role includes managing the technical center showroom and leading the team of sales engineers, field service managers, and an automation engineering team, with a focus on providing efficient, high-quality service and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Solutions: Lead the CNC equipment selection process with sales engineers to create tailored, efficient solutions based on customer needs.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute annual business plans and sales strategies to penetrate new markets and drive unit sales, customer growth, and market share.
• Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing team, set and monitor goals, and ensure accountability through weekly business updates and metrics tracking in Salesforce.
• Customer & Vendor Relations: Build strong relationships with customers and vendors, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Facility Management: Oversee building contracts and facilities services to ensure smooth operation of the Dover, NH facility.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in the machine tool industry and manufacturing, with experience in capital equipment sales, application engineering, or manufacturing design preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CNC machine tools, capital sales distribution, and manufacturing processes.
• Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office, knowledge of accounting basics, and excellent communication, collaboration, and team leadership skills.
• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% within New England.
