- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market demands to effectively position and sell the company's products.
- Technical Consultation:
- Provide technical consultation and support to customers, understanding their specific manufacturing needs and recommending suitable CNC solutions.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that customer requirements align with the capabilities of the CNC products.
- Quotation and Proposal Development:
- Prepare and present detailed and accurate quotations and proposals to potential clients.
- Work closely with the sales support team to ensure timely and competitive pricing.
- Customer Education:
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers to showcase the features and benefits of CNC machines.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns, providing technical solutions and support.
- Market Analysis:
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and potential threats.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the sales manager on market conditions and competitor strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, preferred but not required
- 5+ years Proven experience in CNC machine sales or a similar technical sales role.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and CNC technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry in the Cleveland area is a plus.
