This position is located in New Liberty, Iowa, just outside of Walcott. We are a short commute from the Quad Cities!
Our family-owned and operated company produces casting tooling for the aerospace, aircraft, agricultural, and automotive industries, with an increasing emphasis on aerospace and aircraft. The pay range for this position is $22.00-$36.00 per hour based on experience.

This position is full-time, M-F, 7:00am - 3:30pm (flexible start time), 40 hours per week with regular overtime potential!
We are looking for a knowledgeable CNC Programmer/Operator to program and use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions. Since some materials are not easy to shape or handle manually or with conventional equipment, your job is critical!
CNC Programmers/Operators are highly skilled professionals, able to work with great concentration and precision. They must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are essential.
The goal is to produce high quality parts by programming machines to perform the correct operations.
CNC Programmer Responsibilities:
- Input the product design into the computer modeling software.
- Choose and load the correct cutting tools for the job.
- Adjust machine settings to the desired product specifications.
- Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process.
- Complete quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
- At times cleaning and maintaining the machine.
CNC Programmer Requirements:
- Mastercam or similar CAM software experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs to cut various materials.
- Handle multiple and frequently changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Work independently and stick to deadlines.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Lift heavy objects.
CNC Programmer Attributes That Are Helpful:
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models.
- Train new staff in machine operation procedures.
- Mastercam experience.
- Tool and Die experience
- Work overtime when required.
