As a CNC Programmer in our dynamic manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in driving our success. You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate parts. You will need to read and interpret blueprints, plan machining operations, and produce high-quality precision parts. This role requires a high level of technical acumen, attention to detail, and exceptional problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement CNC programs for various machines using CAD/CAM software.
2. Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models to create accurate, efficient programming.
3. Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring the correct operation of the machine and its components.
4. Conduct regular inspections of machinery, using precision measurement tools to ensure machines are in good working order.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
7. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve overall productivity.
8. Provide technical assistance and support to the machine operators as needed.
9. Use time management skills to meet production deadlines and maintain a consistent workflow.
10. Use CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) to ensure the precision and quality of parts.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
3. Advanced skills in precision measurement and troubleshooting.
4. Strong computer skills, particularly with CAD/CAM software.
5. Proficient with CMM operations.
6. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
7. Exceptional technical skills with a keen attention to detail.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. A strong commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
11. Relevant certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
