We are looking for a talented and experienced CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position within our leading-edge manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components for various industries. If you are a passionate machinist with a keen eye for detail and precision, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
1. Operate CNC machines, including lathes and/or mills, to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
2. Read and interpret technical drawings and plans to understand the machining requirements.
3. Set up machines at the beginning of the shift to ensure proper working order.
4. Perform regular machine maintenance to ensure peak operational performance.
5. Monitor machines during operation to detect any problems and make necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
6. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
7. Troubleshoot and repair machine problems to ensure operational effectiveness.
8. Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
9. Collaborate with team members and other staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.
10. Provide training and guidance to junior machinists and operators.
Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or certification in CNC machining or a related field is preferred.
2. Minimum of 2+ years of experience operating and maintaining CNC machines, particularly lathes.
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting complex technical drawings and plans.
4. CNC program editing.
5. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
7. Knowledge of metal properties and machining procedures.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
9. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
10. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
11. Commitment to adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
12. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work for extended periods.
