CNC Machinist - B&G Hatfield Facility

2nd shift:2:30 PM - 1:00 AM.

This position is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of CNC machines and cells.

Responsibilities

• Check dimensions and materials to assure finished parts conform to work order.

• Keep acurate paperwork and records.

• Make good use of consumable tools.

• Notify lead personnel if machinery is not operating effectively.

• Observe safety precautions at all times

• Machine parts to specifications, using secondary operation machine tools.

• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.

• Read and interpret blueprints or drawings

• Keep work area neat and clean

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of CNC machine operations.
• Ability to communicate appropriately with Managers, Supervisors, and peers in a professional manner

You should be proficient in:

• Machine Setups for Production Runs
• Blueprint Reading

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)
• CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)
