About the Job
Role
As a Machinist (also known as Machine Technician, Manufacturing Specialist), you'll read blueprints and job orders, measure and mark dimensions on workpieces, verify dimensions of finished pieces, select and align machine fixtures, perform first-piece and in-process inspections, and communicate with team members. You'll also be responsible for daily maintenance of equipment and tools, and implementing continuous improvement activities.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months experience as a machinist in a small device manufacturing environment. Experience in medical device manufacturing, aerospace, machinery, metals, health, consumer goods a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and quality plans. Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and meet assigned deadlines. Good manual dexterity and ability to use measurement and inspection tools like micrometers, microscope, etc. Proficiency in GD&T, G-Code, M-Code, Machine Setups for Production Runs, and Manual Machining Skills.
