CNC Machinist (Lathe & Mill - Day & 2nd Shift)

We are seeking talented and experienced CNC Machinists to join our growing team. We have openings for both Day Shift and 2nd Shift positions, specializing in CNC Lathe and CNC Mill operations. If you have strong experience with setups, production runs, and reading blueprints and GD&T, this could be the opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and operate CNC Lathes and Mills (Mazak, DMG Mori, HAAS).
• Perform multiple setups per job to ensure precision and quality.
• Run parts after inspecting the first piece and verify production standards.
• Prepare and adjust tooling, making necessary changes based on specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers, to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
• On 2nd Shift, help manage operations and maintain strong communication with team members and management.
• Assist with tool changes, offset adjustments, and other machine maintenance tasks.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in CNC lathe or mill machining (setup and running).
• Expertise in GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
• Proficient in tool preparation and adjusting offsets for optimal performance.
• Experience with part inspection, ensuring products meet quality standards.
• Strong communication skills, particularly for the 2nd Shift role, to collaborate effectively with the team.

Nice to Have:

• CNC programming skills (Mastercam experience is a plus, but not required).
• Familiarity with Mazak, DMG Mori, and HAAS machines.
• Ability to work with both CNC lathes and mills.
• A willingness to support and train fellow team members, especially on the 2nd shift.

Compensation:
$25 - $35 per hour, based on experience.
