Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to run a CNC Lathe

• Read and interpret blueprints.

• Determine tooling requirements, setup procedures and control settings.

• Monitor while machining and adjust speeds and feeds accordingly.

• Enter program commands in machine controller or retrieves preprogrammed code

• Manually adjusts machine controls to prevent out-of-tolerance machining.

• Ability to recommend production improvement methods, equipment performance, and quality of product to CNC Foreman and Plant Manager

• Monitor and maintain proper cleanliness of machne and work area daily.

Up to $10,000 sign on bonus - based on experience

Skills and experience required:

• Ability to machine various metals of various grades, hardness, shapes, and conditions from simple to complex
• 5+ years of CNC Machining experience.
• CNC Horizontal Lathe experience is required.
• Must be able to perform machine setups on CNC Lathes with little to no suppervision.
• Lift materials up to 50 pounds.
• Shop Math
