Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to run a CNC Lathe
Read and interpret blueprints.
Determine tooling requirements, setup procedures and control settings.
Monitor while machining and adjust speeds and feeds accordingly.
Enter program commands in machine controller or retrieves preprogrammed code
Manually adjusts machine controls to prevent out-of-tolerance machining.
Ability to recommend production improvement methods, equipment performance, and quality of product to CNC Foreman and Plant Manager
Monitor and maintain proper cleanliness of machne and work area daily.
Up to $10,000 sign on bonus - based on experience
Skills and experience required:
- Ability to machine various metals of various grades, hardness, shapes, and conditions from simple to complex
- 5+ years of CNC Machining experience.
- CNC Horizontal Lathe experience is required.
- Must be able to perform machine setups on CNC Lathes with little to no suppervision.
- Lift materials up to 50 pounds.
