CNC at LSI Staffing

Job Purpose

To work with CNC machines to produce precision quality parts and tools from metal using engineering plans.

Job Responsibilities

1. Operates all tool room equipment – CNC machining centers, surface grinders, wire EOM machines, hole poppers, mills, lathes and drill presses.

2. Builds and repairs production tooling & equipment using machining operations and measuring instruments.

3. Works from 2D drawings, sketches, and 3D models to create or modify tools, dies and jigs.

4. Programs CNC machining centers and wire machines to make parts per engineering designs.

5. Reports to Tooling

Job Authority

Per Company Quality Policy – has the responsibility for ensuring product quality and the authority to stop production to correct quality problems

Job Experience/Education Required

· High School Diploma

· 1 year of formal education/certification in Tooling & Die

· 5 years’ experience in Tooling & Die

· Proficient using Mastercam
