Located in Danville in the scenic East Bay Area, The Reutlinger Community provides comfortable accommodations and personalized care for up to 180 seniors. Newly renovated to better serve residents, The Reutlinger Community currently offers room and board in specialized Assisted Living, Enhanced Care, Memory Care and Rehabilitation.

*Position Summary:*
The purpose of the Certified Nurse Assistant position is provide assigned residents routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s care plan, and as may be directed by facility supervisors.
*Position Responsibilities include:*
* Maintains charts and documentation for all residents.
* Prepares resident rooms prior to receiving the resident in the facility.
* Greets new residents and orients them to their room, and ensures they are comfortable.
* Transports residents as needed.
* Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, positive emphasis and calmness.
* Participates in and receives daily nursing reports.
* Assists residents with basic needs, including, but not limited to oral care, bathing, toileting, dressing/undressing, hair care, nail care, shaving, bowel and bladder functions.
* Changes bed linens, makes beds and provides extra blankets if necessary.
* Repositions bedfast residents as needed and at least every 2 hours.
* Maintains intake and output records as required.
*Qualifications*
*Education: *
High school diploma or equivalent. Current certificate in California as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). CPR certified.
*Training and Experience: *
Experience working as a CNA preferred. Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and providing personal and bedside care.
_The final candidate must successfully pass The Reutlinger's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, COVID test, TB screen test and health screen. All staff, except wait staff and dishwasher positions, must be at least 18 years of age. _
