About the Job
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2-5 years of experience in credit operations.
- Familiarity with the leveraged loan (broadly syndicated) asset class, especially in handling capital activity, income booking, and amortizations.
- Knowledge of CLO products is essential; experience with other financial products is a plus.
- Strong understanding of portfolio requirements, ensuring timely processing for month-end and quarter-end reporting deadlines.
- Hands-on experience with core credit operations systems, including order management (trading), compliance systems, data flows, and fintech tools for CLO management (issuer level, security level, and trade data). Familiarity with accounting systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical abilities with a thorough grasp of CLO business data requirements, security master data, trade management, and downstream reporting. Experience with ad hoc analysis and managing data project deadlines across different business functions.
- Expertise in S&P products like loan platforms, Clearpar, entity management, pricing tools, WSO Web, and WSO on-premise.
- Ability to understand the entire life cycle of leveraged loan trades.
- Familiarity with LSTA & LMA trading documentation, such as trade confirmations, assignments, funding memos, pricing letters, and participation agreements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the full life cycle of CLO vehicles, including warehouse setup, new issue CLOs, resets, reinvestments, refinancings, and redemptions, is a plus.
- Provide daily support to the trading desk.
- Expertise in the life cycle of broadly syndicated loan trades, including allocations, settlement, post-settlement portfolio administration, and corporate actions processing.
- Strong reconciliation skills across different levels
- Experience collaborating with third-party agents to resolve discrepancies and coordinate timing.
- Skilled in interpreting and analyzing operational reports, including cash flow, positions, trades, and activity.
