We are seeking a skilled CEMS Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) for accurate measurement of gas emissions.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative/predictive maintenance on gas analyzers and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to gas measurement, including O2, CO, CO2, THC, Hg, and HCl emissions.
- Calibrate and validate data from measurement devices to ensure accurate reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for regulatory compliance and audits.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance process control and system efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience with Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS).
- Strong understanding of gas measurement techniques and equipment.
- Experience in industrial electrical systems and process control.
- Familiarity with PLC, HMI, and P&ID systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
