We are looking for a CAD Technician to support the Survey group. We place great importance on integrity, excellence, responsibility, stewardship, and dedication while being passionate client advocates dedicated to improving and growing communities.
Responsibilities
- Communicate proactively and appropriately with team members, permitting agencies, clients, sub-consultants, and others as needed
- Act as a team player, fulfilling your own responsibilities and supporting others as needed to help the team meet deadlines and complete tasks
- Understand legal descriptions terminology
- Review field notes and raw data files for mistakes
- Reduce field notes and perform necessary office calculations
- Ensure that field procedures meet Florida Standards of Practice
- Prepare maps using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other associated survey module
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Current or prior experience with Auto Cad and Civil 3D
- Current or prior experience with technical drafting in the land surveying fields
- Knowledge of the standards of practice applied to data manipulation and mapping production
- Knowledge of the following types of surveys:
- As-Built
- ALTA/NSPS
- Boundary
- Construction layout
- Control
- Right-of-Way
- Specific Purpose
- Topographic
