CAD Drafter - The Fountain Group

My name is David, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group.  We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­CAD Drafter for a prominent client of ours.  This position is located in ­­ Scarborough, ME. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• Pay: $28-$30
• The primary function of this position is to support engineers and technicians in the creation of revision of CAD models and/or detailed drawings for devices, fixtures, and tooling.
• Generate detailed drawings of new and existing design concepts.
• Adhere to and apply current industry drafting standards to detailed drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize new and existing designs.
• Maintain CAD files and corresponding documents in all existing data management systems.
• Process engineering change reports, updating all applicable documents to current SJM standards.
• Support all company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
• Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

Qualifications:

• Experience using SolidWorks.
• Experience using ProE/Creo, Windchill, or Workgroup Manager.
• Experience with a variety or machining/manufacturing process.
• Experience using engineering measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
