The number one focus of a Busser's role is cleanliness. Keeping our restaurant clean is the very first step to creating a great first impression with our guests.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
The primary responsibility of a Busser is to set tables and remove soiled dishes, glassware and silverware from the tables. As well as proper maintenance and cleaning of side stations, floors, furniture, restrooms and to perform other duties as assigned.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
This position reports to Supervisor/Manager on Duty.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a team player, who is willing to go above and beyond to accomplish the common goal of The Frankenmuth Brewery - Create an exceptional guest experience!
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Able to work well with others and take direction
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Must be comfortable and confident working in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to fulfill physical requirements of a Busser's job - carry heavy trays (20lb. at least).
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Obtain a basic 1st level Beer Diplomat Training program
- Sort silverware and evaluate for cleanliness
- Perform restroom checks on a routine basis
- Support wait staff by assisting them with delivery of food and retrieval of any supplies they may require
- Maintain knowledge of all safety and sanitation procedures, and employee policies
- Obtain knowledge of dining rooms, sections, and table numbers
- Set up tables and chairs for next service
- Upkeep cleanliness of dining areas and service stations
- Assist service staff in re-filling ice, and stocking glassware
- Perform additional duties as requested by Supervisors and/or Managers
