Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst with strong SQL expertise and excellent communication skills.
- The ideal candidate will have a keen ability to analyze and improve business processes, bridging the gap between IT and business stakeholders. Experience with the Secondary Mortgage Market is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
- Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data to support business decision-making and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, systems, and data flows.
- Work closely with IT teams to design, test, and implement system enhancements and new applications.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
- Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of system performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure efficient use of business systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the Secondary Mortgage Market is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with mortgage industry processes and terminology.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
