Overview:
We are searching for a Business Systems Analyst who excels at bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role is essential in enhancing and maintaining our internal systems and processes. The Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with various departments, particularly Sales, to ensure our platforms and processes support business growth, scalability, and efficiency. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, solid technical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across all departments, primarily Sales, to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Aid in administering Salesforce and other critical business platforms, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
- Use data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and develop scalable, automated solutions.
- Perform regular system audits and troubleshooting to resolve any operational issues or inefficiencies.
- Assist with project management tasks, ensuring that system enhancements and new solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
- Configure and manage system integrations using tools like Excel, SQL, and other business intelligence platforms.
- Facilitate system changes, from planning and testing through to successful implementation, ensuring minimal business disruption.
Required Skills & Qualifications (must-haves):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a business systems or operations analyst role, with a focus on process improvement and system optimization.
- Salesforce Administration experience, with the ability to manage, users, and security settings, flows, reports, and object configurations.
- Strong skills in Excel, including pivot tables, report generation, and data analysis.
- Experience working with SQL for querying and data extraction.
- Familiarity with API integrations and process automation tools.
- Demonstrated experience in gathering requirements and creating system documentation.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities.
- Ability to manage projects from conception to completion, coordinating across teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications (nice-to-haves):
- Salesforce Certified Admin, Certified Business Analyst, or equivalent
- Familiarity with tools like Power BI for deeper data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with process automation tools such as Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, or Salesforce Flow to drive efficiency in operations.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like NetSuite or SAP, which could enhance integration and data flow between business systems.
- Familiarity with change management principles to help guide departments through system changes.
